COVID Prevention

As they used to say in the Boy Scouts: Be prepared.

We offer certain prescription medications that have been proven to be effective against the original strain of COVID, the subsequent variants, flu, and other respiratory viruses.

Reality Check

The pandemic was an ugly reality check:  Studies confirm that long before COVID-19, Americans have been living shorter lives and experiencing more illnesses than people in other high-income countries. The United States recorded more COVID deaths than any other country in the world (according to the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Dashboard). After decades of a convenience food diet, sedentary lifestyles, pervasive pesticides, and chronic stress, the U.S. is now a fragile society when it comes to health.

And COVID is likely to be with us from now on, just as the flu is. But unlike the flu, COVID delivers the toxic spike protein. The infection gives us some spike protein. The vaccine and boosters give a bigger dose.

In 2020, studies from Europe showed that patients who struggled with COVID and became hospitalized were very low on vitamins D and C and K, zinc, and selenium. The body needs these nutrients to do a variety of jobs, including making a strong immune system.

For too many people, their “inner toolbox” is not well stocked. The micronutrient density of the food we choose to eat determines the micronutrient density of our bodies.

Being prepared comes in the form of particular prescription medications tucked in advance in the medicine cabinet, along with particular supplements that help the body fight off respiratory viruses.
